INGREDIENTS
BOX OF GLUTEN FREE YELLOW CAKE MIX (I USED BOB'S RED MILL VANILLA YELLOW OR YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN WITHOUT THE WATER AND EGGS)6 CUPS OF BLUEBERRIES (APPROX 18OZ)
2 TABLESPOONS OF HONEY (I USED MANUKA HONEY)
1 STICK OF BUTTER
1 1/4 CUPS OF WARM WATER
DIRECTIONS
PREHEAT THE OVEN TO 350 OR FOLLOW CAKE MIX TEMPERATURE.
USING A 9×13 BAKING DISH; POUR THE YELLOW CAKE MIX EVENLY ON IN THE BOTTOM.
NEXT, EVENLY LAYER YOUR BLUEBERRIES OVER THE TOP OF THE CAKE MIX.
ADD THE HONEY TO THE WARM WATER AND STIR
*NOTE* YOU MAY CHOOSE TO ADD MORE HONEY IF YOUR BERRIES ARE TART
POUR THE 1 1/4 CUP OF WATER AND HONEY OVER THE TOP OF THE BERRIES AND CAKE MIX.
GENTLY TOSS THE BERRIES AND CAKE MIX UNTIL THE MIX IS SATURATED.
CUT THE STICK OF BUTTER INTO 8 PIECES AND SPREAD EVENLY OVER THE TOP.
YOU MAY CHOOSE TO DO THIS AFTER THE CAKE HAS COOKED FOR A FEW MINUTES.

BAKE IN THE OVEN TO BAKE FOR 45-50 MINUTES OR BY CAKE MIX DIRECTIONS.
